CFRE/ACFRE CERTIFICATION SUPPORT 

The Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential demonstrates an individual’s mastery of the standards set for core knowledge and skills required of fundraising executives after five years of experience. Scholarships will be awarded for the CFRE Review Course, the CFRE Exam, or the CFRE renewal in the amount of $250 each to cover some of the cost. Course opportunities are available online as well as for group trainings/meetings.

2026 Scholarship Application Timeline: 
Scholarship Application Open: May 4 - June 26, 2026
Scholarship Recipients Notified: July 14, 2026 

Requirements to Apply:

• Be an AFP member for at least 2 years
• Serve on at least one committee
• Professional Reference 

Requirement after Award: If requested, be willing to write a testimony about your experience receiving the scholarship that may be used in AFP materials, website, or the newsletter.
