Collaborate for Success: Working Together to Advance Our Missions (Auditorium)

In this moderated panel session, hear from three seasoned professionals on how they treat their organization’s program staff like donors, involving them in donor engagement and cultivating an internal culture of philanthropy. The panel represents small, medium and large sized shops in different nonprofit industries. Each panelist will share their experiences of what works and doesn’t work when it comes to internal collaboration as well as how to incentivize staff to work together to make the donor experience more meaningful.

The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC is in the process of migrating to an integrated software stack on the Salesforce platform. The first steps in this vision was to migrate development off of Raiser’s Edge and theatre off of BrownPaperTickets.com to the Salesforce environment with an online donor community to donate, purchase tickets and redeem benefits for a more smooth and technology forward online experience for our supporters and members.

How can the Houston Food Bank solicit donors year-round through direct mail, digital fundraising, telefundraising, events, cause marketing, and major gift asks? Don’t their donors get fatigued? During this session Amy Ragan will discuss how thoughtful segmentation and stewardship can inspire year-round donor support across various campaigns.
