Becoming a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) is a rigorous process and it signals commitment, competence and credibility.

We are proud to recognize Anissa Cordova and Nancy Ebanks with the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council for their accomplishments of becoming CFREs during the first CFRE testing window of 2018.

Anissa Cordova

 Development Director, Individual Giving

"As an organization that is dedicated to empowering the next generation of female leaders, Girl Scouts also encourages career development of its employees. While the CFRE credential is beneficial to my personal career growth, it also demonstrates that our development team aspires to the highest standards of ethics, competence and philanthropic service. All of these are important as we continue to diversify revenue and build donor fidelity for Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council."

Nancy Ebanks

Development Director, Major Gifts

"The CFRE credential is important because it shows a mastery of core knowledge within the fundraising profession and thus establishes a level of credibility. The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. It is only right to live the mission in our work lives by inspiring the staff we manage to continue to set goals and cover gaps in their nonprofit education. As for our constituents, we have a duty to be well-versed in all areas, especially in ethics and accountability."

From all of us here at AFP-GHC, congratulations on a job well done!
