The Gray Areas of Giving: Donors, Dilemmas and Doing the Right Thing 
This session explores real-world ethical dilemmas and gray areas in fundraising where the "right" course of action isn't explicitly outlined in a rulebook. Panelists will share actual scenarios from their careers across higher education, healthcare, planned giving, and the legal sector. Key topics include donor capacity and vulnerability, donor intent, family dynamics, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and balancing responsibilities between the donor and the organization.
