Rebecca serves as the Senior Director of Development for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. In her role she oversees the major and planned giving programs, developing donors’ relationships with PPGC and helping them to realize the impact they want to make in the areas of sexual and reproductive healthcare, education and advocacy.

Previously, Rebecca served as Chief Development Officer of Houston Area Women’s Center. She also worked as a consultant with nonprofit consultancy firm Dini Spheris. In her work as a consultant, Rebecca partnered with a variety of nonprofit organizations in pursuit of ambitious fundraising goals and organizational best practices.

Rebecca began her development career as a development research analyst during Rice University’s $1 billion Centennial Campaign. While at her alma mater, she also developed the Rice Centennial Ambassadors Program, an alumni engagement initiative. Rebecca then worked on a comprehensive $165 million campaign at Houston Grand Opera. 

With a passion for both obtaining and bestowing knowledge, Rebecca has enjoyed the privilege of teaching the next generation of nonprofit leaders through Rice University’s Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. She also believes in giving back to the fundraising profession and is Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Houston Chapter.
